Police officials say suspected Boko Haram members yesterday killed a former Customs officer, Alhaji Ajiya Waziri and his son in Potiskum, Yobe State.
According to a family source yesterday; "Waziri and his son were killed earlier today. Their dead bodies were found in front of the Family House in Potiskum town."
Yobe State Police Commissioner, Patrick Egbuniwe confirmed the incident on phone from Damaturu, Yobe State capital.
"Yes we got information that a former Customs officer and his son were killed but we are yet to make arrest because nobody has provided any information that will help us get the perpetrators and this has always been our appeal to members of the public. They should assist us do our job so that we can have peace in this state," Egbuniwe said.
