New Face Of Remodelled Benin Airport [Photos]

As part of her committment towards repositioning and restructuring the aviation sector, Minister Of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah promised that major airport facilities across the country would be given a facelift to ease travelling and give a semblance of comfort – she has begun to deliver on her promise.
Last week, the remodelled General Aviation Terminal of the MMA Lagos was commissioned by the SGF, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim and more are to be commissioned in some months to come.
They (remodelled airports) might not be ‘world class’ now, but they are far better than what used to obtain in the past and a little commendation will not be out of place.
It is expected that these physical improvements will be accompanied by improved oversight functions of relevant government agencies charged with responsibility of ensuring our skies are not only safe for travel but also that they operate within the arm bits of laid down rules and regulations.
Is the transformation agenda of the Goodluck Jonathan administration beginning to pay off in the aviation sector? Your thoughts…
