Cojoined twins delivered in Nasarawa die two days after


According to reports on Africa Independent Television (AIT), the conjoined female twins that were delivered in Nasarawa over the weekend, have died.
Delivered by a 17-year-old girl, they were joined at the midsection and shared one navel and intestines. Shortly after their delivery at Maraba Medical Centre in Nasarawa, they were transferred to the National Hospital, Abuja.
The reports say they died on Sunday, January 6th, but their father, Sani Ahmed, was informed yesterday. At the time of the report, the mother was not aware of their death.
