Kidnapped NTA reporter freed by her captors

Reports reaching us say that Olubunmi Oke, a female reporter working with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has been released by her captors.The nursing mother, was kidnapped on Thursday by four gunmen after closing from work  at Oba Ile area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Although, the abductors had earlier demanded a ransom of N18 million, it  was later reduced to N8 million and then to N1 million. It could not be ascertained at this time if any amount was paid before she was released.
