A former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Attah, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.
Reports emanating from Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, has it that Attah, who was the state governor from 1999 to 2007, dumped the party on Saturday at a rally of the APC.
He was sited at the rally with Obong Don Etiebet and other chieftains of the APC in Akwa Ibom State.
Attah had fallen out with the PDP based on his disagreement with the state Governor, Barrister Godswill Akpabio.
