A traditional ruler in Osun State, Alowa of Ilowa-Ijesa, Oba Adebukola Alli, has been set free by the Osun State High Court over a celebrated case of raping a member of NYSC member posted to his area.
Justice Oyejide Falola of the Osun State High Court in his judgment delivered Tuesday in Oshogbo said that the plaintiff, Miss Helen Okpara, could not show enough evidence to convince the court that she was actually raped by the monarch.
The judge maintained that a case of case could only be proved with enough exhibits, including bed sheet, victim’s pant and medical reports.
