Gunmen have reportedly attacked a university in the town of Garissa in northern Kenya, local media reported.
Witnesses said heavy gunfire could be heard from the Garissa University College premises on Thursday, and an ambulances were already at the scene.
Local media reported that gunmen had taken hostages inside the complex after explosion were heard.
