The Nigerian military has confirmed that 28 people were killed in Langtang Local Government Area of Plateau State by gunmen on Wednesday night.
Spokesperson of the Special Task Force in Plateau, Captain Salisu Mustapha, also said 20 of the attackers were killed.
PREMIUM TIMES had reported the attack on Bolgan, Karkashi, and Magama villages in Langtang and the destruction of many houses causing residents to flee.
