Tragedy: 7 soldiers die in accident on Abaji-Abuja highway

Seven soldiers died this afternoon in an accident involving three vehicles at Awawa on the Abaji-Abuja highway.

According to the Federal Road Safety officials, the truck conveying the soldiers was involved in a head-on collision with another truck.

It was gathered that a Toyota 18-seater Hiace bus was also involved in the accident.

As at the time of this report, it couldn't be confirmed where the soldiers where heading to when the accident happened. Details to come shortly.
